Pete and Mac’s has taken care of thousands of pets since opening our 1st resort in 1999. We know that leaving your pets can be stressful and want to make it as easy as possible.We are proud of the way we care for pets, from our unique, top-of-the-line buildings to our highly trained staff – we encourage you to come take a tour, see where your pet will actually eat, sleep and play, not just a “representative” room.When you’ve made your first reservation you can print the forms below for your convenience. Please do plan to spend a couple minutes answering some questions about your pet when you check in – we want to ensure we have the information to provide the very best care.

Frequent Spaw Guests (Dirty Dozen Club) Get $40 credit with every 12 professional services. After 6 Grooms, Bath & Brushes or Had it up to Hair? treatments $20 credit towards any Pete and Mac’s service or retail product is applied to your account. After 6 more, another $20 is applied.

How do I make a reservation?

 

  • 24 hours a day, seven days a week by clicking on the Reservations tab above;

 

  • by calling or visiting your local resort – numbers can be found on our locations page

 

 

What do I need to make a reservation?

 

  • Pete and Mac’s will need a credit card for your deposit. Deposits are for the 1st day’s room charge and are fully refundable if you must cancel your reservation. If you make an online reservation, your local resort will call to confirm your reservation, take your deposit and answer any questions you have.

 

  • We also require current vaccination documentation, which we are happy to get from your veterinarian.

 

  • We will need your pets’ first time guest information, you are able to download these forms above or we can fax or email the forms, or we can print and review them with you when your pet checks in the 1st time.

 

 

 

Which vaccines are required for my dog?

 

  • Rabies (1 yr or 3 yr per local ordinance), DHPP (1 yr or 3 yr) and Bordetella (6 months or 1 year, per your veterinarian). An approved Flea & Tick preventative is also required – the local resort can verify acceptable products and time span. Pete and Mac’s does offer Frontline Plus at check-in for your convenience. For the health and safety of all guests, all pets must be fully vaccinated if boarding, playing in daycare, going to the Spaw or attending training.

 

 

 

Which vaccines are required for my cat?

 

  • Rabies (1 yr or 3 yr per local ordinance), FVRCP (1 yr or 3 yr), Feline Leukemia (1 yr). An approved Flea & Tick preventative is also required – the local resort can verify acceptable products and time span. Pete and Mac’s does offer Frontline Plus at check-in for your convenience. For the health and safety of all guests, cats must be fully vaccinated if boarding, or going to the Spaw.

 

 

 

What do I bring with my dog for boarding?

 

  • Please bring your pet to Pete and Mac’s on a leash, we are happy to keep their leash and collar while you are on vacation. Pete and Mac’s provides a bed, bedding, activity toy, food and a daily treat, lots of interaction and love – so you don’t need to bring any creature comforts. If your dog requires any medication or prescription diet, please bring with you. You may bring toys or bedding if you like.

 

 

 

What is included in the daily rate for my dog?

 

  • For our canine guests, each room includes a bed, comfy bedding, food – a premium veterinary blend fed on the schedule your pets are used to or bring your own food - no extra fee.

 

 

 

What do I bring with my cat for boarding?

 

  • Please bring your cat to Pete and Mac’s in their cat carrier. We have space to store it while your cat is on vacation, so plan to leave it with us. Bring your pet’s medication as needed.

 

 

 

What is included in the daily rate for my cat?

 

  • Our feline guests enjoy rooms with a view, comfy bedding to snuggle in and their own private litter box. Your cats will also enjoy play time in our shared recreation area – alone or with members of their family.

 

 

 

My female dog is in heat. Will you still accept her?

 

  • Yes, she will enjoy private play time. No extra fees for females in heat. We cannot, however accept pregnant or lactating females.

 

 

 

Do you accept intact males at Pete and Mac’s?

 

  • Yes. No extra fees for intact males, after 6 months of age intact males enjoy private playtimes. Between 4 and 6 months, intact males may attend daycare or group play times.

 

 

 

Will you administer medication to my pet?

 

  • Yes. Pete and Mac’s will give medication and/or prescription food at no extra charge. We are not able to take pets that require injectable medications, are diabetic, pregnant or nursing. Some medications are indicative of an active communicable disease, Pete and Mac’s cannot accept pets that are currently contagious.

 

 

 

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

 

  • Pete and Mac’s understands that plans do change. We require 48 hour cancellation for refund of your deposit. No additional notice is required for holidays or peak periods.

 

 

 

Do you offer day care or grooming if my dog is not currently staying at Pete and Mac’s?

 

  • Yes. We offer dog daycare and grooming to non-boarding pets. After your pet has completed their 1st visit to Pete and Mac’s a reservation is not required for daycare – however, if your dog attends daycare infrequently, a reservation is recommended so we can verify your pet’s vaccination status. Reservations are required for grooming appointments.

 

 

 

What does Pete and Mac’s charge for grooming?

 

  • No one likes surprises when it comes to the cost of a haircut. Pete and Mac’s groomers offer free consultations for new clients and will provide the cost of the professional services you select based on your pet’s needs and coat condition. Pete and Mac’s professional pet stylists base their fees on an hourly rate of $38. Amenity menu prices are fixed for services.
